Linko — Professional Blood Donation Community Platform

Important: Linko is a non-commercial, community-driven platform facilitating voluntary blood donation coordination. Blood donation is entirely voluntary and unpaid.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, registering for, or using the Linko platform ('Service'), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue using the platform immediately.

2. Voluntary & Non-Commercial Nature

Linko operates strictly as a humanitarian communication platform to connect voluntary blood donors with patients and families in urgent medical need. Blood donation through this platform is strictly voluntary, altruistic, and unpaid.

Selling or buying blood, plasma, or platelets through Linko is strictly prohibited and illegal under Bangladesh law.
Requesting or demanding financial remuneration, hidden broker fees, or unauthorized tips for blood donation is grounds for immediate permanent ban and referral to law enforcement.
Donors and recipients interact voluntarily with mutual respect and no financial obligation.

3. Donor & User Eligibility

To register as a blood donor or create emergency requests on Linko, you must meet basic legal and health eligibility requirements.

Age & Weight: You must be at least 18 years of age and meet standard medical weight requirements (minimum 45–50 kg) to register as a donor.
Medical Fitness: Donors must honestly assess their health conditions, history of infectious diseases, and ensure a minimum 90-day rest interval since their previous whole blood donation.
Accurate Information: You agree to provide true, accurate, and current information regarding your blood group, locality, and availability.

4. Emergency Blood Requests & Communication

When posting blood requests or communicating with community members, users must adhere to platform honesty and verification standards.

Legitimate Need: Emergency requests must reflect genuine medical requirements at verified healthcare facilities or hospitals.
Respectful Communication: Users must not spam, harass, intimidate, or misuse contact details provided by voluntary donors.
Timely Status Updates: Request creators are responsible for marking requests as 'Fulfilled' or 'Closed' once required blood units are secured.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or disruptive behavior on Linko, including but not limited to:

Creating fictitious emergency requests, spreading misinformation, or engaging in panic-mongering.
Scraping, harvesting, or bulk-exporting donor phone numbers or personal records for marketing purposes.
Attempting to bypass security systems, probe vulnerabilities, or disrupt server infrastructure.
Impersonating medical personnel, hospitals, blood bank officials, or law enforcement.

6. Medical Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Linko is a communication facilitator and technology provider, not a licensed medical facility, clinical laboratory, or blood bank.

Mandatory Hospital Screening: Hospitals and blood transfusion centers remain solely responsible for mandatory clinical cross-matching, infectious disease screening (HIV, Hepatitis B/C, Syphilis, Malaria), and transfusion safety.
Limitation of Liability: Linko, its operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from donor-recipient interactions, missed donations, or clinical transfusion outcomes.

7. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any account or access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if a user violates these Terms, harms community trust, or engages in fraudulent behavior.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any legal disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

9. Modifications & Legal Inquiries

We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
